I would not doubt if it was intentional by the Chinese. These are the same people that have no problem putting what on your kids toys?

The swastika means different things in different cultures and is named differently. It shows up in Asia as a marker for Buddhist temples, and in Native American symbols established long before there were Nazis.
So before I blew a head gasket I'd see where the shoes were made. Or is the manufacturer demonstrating the Nazis being crushed under foot every time you take a step by placing the symbol on shoe soles.....Nah that would be a stretch. Has to be a subversive plot to leave swastikas stamped everywhere and channel profits into the pockets of Nazi sympathizers.

Maybe the Chinese don't see it as an evil symbol.
The swastika, or manji as a Chinese character, is considered to be a sacred and auspicious symbol in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism.
