The impact to the towns that located near these bases that close is unbelievable.

You are so right. I was born on Blytheville AFB while and now the town is so run down. I trained at Chanute AFB and after is was closed the town is so poor.

I wouldn't close any......I would start to fill them back up again! Stop eviscerating the Military and closing everything and drawing down the weapons arsenal daily....!
