From the "force protection" point of view, I think is a good idea. But I don't think Commanders are going to get away without their troops doing some kin of physical activity, no way that's going to happen. Especially those who don't go outside the wire on the regular basis...I'm not trying to offend anyone. But, let's be realistic that not everyone goes outside the wire because of their mission. Those who go outside in support of their mission get plenty of PT. I just don't think this is going to fly.
