Its sickening to see that happening to any child. In the military it looks worse because we are a smaller community overall. Its a very horrible problem and makes me sick to even know that its going on. Those child molesters are the ones really deserving of the death penalty, right up there with serial killers and rapists.

I wonder if anyone has any advice for dealing with having been abused outside of the United States, by an embassy staff member two decades ago. It took me years into adulthood to tell my father what happened, and am not troubled terribly by a need for "justice" in this, as all I know was that his name was "Jim" and it happened in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1995 or 1996.

these actions caused by a small few makes the bigger of the military family look bad and it makes the military look like a terrible organization to be in. It isnt seen but there are probs way more cases that arent even discovered or reported.we need to make a way for the abused to voice out what is happening in a safe way so the military can take of the problem and get the child away from the person that is harming them. This kind of thing can prevent the military family from growing and can cause permanent phsycological damage on the child creating mentally unstable people for the world to help.
