Jefe its breaks my heart any time we have to say good bye to one of ours. However, I remind myself everyday that was/is and ugly business, they want to be there. They want to be great Americans and be part of the solution and not the problem.

I remember having support guys, intel, commo, cooks, mechanics etc... tell me they wanted to go out to firebases or A-Camps if the chance came up. I would alway tell them be careful what you wished for then they would always smile. I have no idea how many men I put into harms way in different places all over the planet. My guys who crossed over to the other side will always be young and went out like warrior Gods. They did not go out with bed sores from laying on their old ass. No they are forever young in Heaven aka Valhalla.
