I agree. Being anonymously tipped off to a specific individual would be much more likely to find people with serious intent to further a racist agenda. Unfortunately that method is less likely to line the right people's pockets so they will instead toss millions to a contractor for a system that will be abandoned in just a few years.

There are certain groups and phrases that are popular with white supremacists/nationalists/"separatists" though so maybe the idea has some merit. A simple search for something like the 14 Words or likes on white supremacist bands music videos(yes, they exist) would probably get you a few results. I sympathized a bit with the white "separatists" as a teen(yes, I was stupid and naive) until I realized that those folks were straight racist so I know a few of the common threads.
