Pentagon reiterates that troops have no role in US election – that includes vets at polls

Troops have a major role, as do Vets. It's called voting! They need to reword their caption.

"Federal law prohibits the deployment of federal troops or law enforcement agents to polling places, according to the non-partisan Brennan Center for Justice."

Issue is not about voting or volunteering, but misuse of official armed deployment at polling sites

Really? I think USA Today has lost their collective minds writing it this way. BTW, if I want to hand out literature for either party at the polls since I am no longer wearing a uniform, that is also NONEYA.
