I wasn't able to read the article. The website asked for money to continue. But I agree with your comment that people make decisions based on fear. Fear is a huge motivator and we live in a society that capitalizes on it. Buy this or "this" will happen. Don't get caught without "this"! If you don't do "this" now, your kids won't be able to go to college. Isn't it interesting that the Bible tells us NOT to fear hundreds of times? Yet we so often fail to follow such simple advice.

The one thing the author of the article missed is that most Christians don't know the man they profess to follow. The fruits of the Spirit are Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faith, Gentleness, and Self-control. If our professed relationship with Jesus Christ is not growing these traits in our lives, then we have no relationship with Him, and we are liars to profess His name.
