One thing. placing a bet or not He NEVER threw a game and His bets were on the team He played on. This is 100% unlike others who threw games to accept bribes, that wasn't the case with Pete Rose. Certainly He proved His skill as a Baseball player and gave every game His maximum effort. I'm sorry to hear of His passing but His entering the Hall of Fame or not He was one of the greatest Players.
