The more you punish these companies in dollar amounts the more you punish the people that rely on them for service. Rather than make 84 families millionaires, give them a nice fund and make the company invest that money in underground lines and other features to safely deliver power. Removing 11 of 14 board members and forcing them into bankruptcy probably will not get people power and AC during hot weather.

The dollars going to victim families will be an insurance settlement. The responsible party or scapegoat will spend some time in a federal pen with tennis courts and a golf course and be released with a sizable golden parachute.

Cpl (Join to see) If they can keep insurance the premiums will certainly go up and deductibles? Not against family compensation but in reasonable amounts because people still need power.
