Pipes & Drums - Amazing Grace

Playing Amazing Grace to lay one of your own to rest is one of the toughest gigs a Firefighter/Bagpiper will ever play. Piping to lay the Chief of Otter Creek VFD to rest was high on my list of "toughest" funerals, and I played quite a few "tough" services through the years. I had met him before, so he wasn't just a "name", he was a Brother. The little church where his funeral was held was "standing-room-only" because he had been part of that community for many years.
