Voting rights activists are fighting a plan to close most of the polling places in a majority-black county in southwest Georgia. The state says the closures are necessary because the sites in rural Randolph County are in disrepair, but the ACLU says the proposal is designed to suppress voter turnout in the county.

Libertarians, conservatives, Republicans... Help a liberal understand! Are they going to bus these voters to alternative polling places? Are they going to allow these voters access polling places with extended hours? Please explain! It sounds like voter suppression, but that can't be, right? The GOP is doing so well with the black community, right? Something about really caring and Democrats are totally the racists?
