Politicians need to beware when stifling discussion on social media

IMHO, if you are a publicly elected official or if you hold a public office, you don't get to have a private life as we know it. You are a public official, with the emphasis on PUBLIC. With regard to a social media profile, especially one that is used as your primary source to communicate, should be open to everyone not just to those that agree with you.
