Pompeo announces reversal of longstanding US policy on Israeli settlements

Trump scores points inside the US and Isreal while losing points nearly everywhere else. Further reinforces the view that policy hawks are his constituents in terms of foreign policy. More Reaganesque than previous administrations. Won't help the peace process but with the current state of Isreali politics, that is nearly irrelevant. Obama had little lasting effect with polar opposite policies. Moving the needle is more on the Israelis than anyone or a thing else.
