Whoa? You mean the Pope isn't infallible? The Commandment is "Thou shalt not murder" (take a life without just cause) It is the Commandment that allows us to defend ourselves (we should not be complicit in our own murders by not defending ourselves when we have the means and the opportunity). Thus, by logical extension, it is the Commandment that mandates our 2nd Amendment protected, God-given right to keep an bear arms (the means of self-defense)

I was going to precisely post the same thing. The Exodus 20 commandment is telling us not to unjustly take life (Murder)....

Have him tell that to the Muslims who take delight in beheading, throwing off the roofs, stoning women, raping children, all in the name of their deity and his book the Koran.

Exodus 21:12-14
(12) Anyone who strikes a man and kills him shall surely be put to death.
(13) However, if he does not do it intentionally, but God lets it happen, he is to flee to a place I will designate.
(14) But if a man schemes and kills another man deliberately, take him away from my altar and put him to death.
