Many of are taking prescribed reflux drugs. I have had reflux problems so bad, my esophagus had cancer and had to be cut out and sewn to my stomach. I have had kidney stones almost all of my life. My last episode produced 41 kidney stones in one night. This may be a contributing factor, as none of the doctors I've seen can actually pin point the reason. My doctor, in my last episode told me they are actually growing in my kidneys. I heard this on the Today show this morning and wanted to get this message out to you.

Talk with your physician about possibly getting on Omeprazol. I suffer from GERD on occasion so I take this. The med will not stop an attack that is currently taking place, it does help from attacks happening. I take one 40mg tablet daily in the am before my first meal of the day (usually about 20-30 mike before chow), and thus far, I have no issues.

I had been taking the purple pill while active and then VA Omeprazole 20mg daily since the mid 90s
