I know. For her to say Obama and the Democrats did nothing to implement any kind of laws, regulations, and enforcement to mitigate mass shootings from happening is the kind of ignorance that sums up our current government.

Well former POTUS Obama was the CIC then, He ran the executive branch and could have asked Congress to fix this. So own it guys. T rump is POTUS now and will be responsible for stuff under his administration. Captain is responsible for the ship guys.

Sorry. How many times did we hear GOP candidates, current GOP elected officials and NRA run ads saying Obama was coming for their guns so they nee to block any gun control legislation suggested by Obama's White House and the Democrats? Are we conveniently dismissing 8 years of anti-gun control rhetoric by GOP every time Obama said we need commonsense gun control laws like bans on select assault weapons and tools that modify semi-automatic weapons? Do also point the finger at the half of Congress that refused to fix or consider any proposals on the issue.

MSG Jay Jackson - One year 6 months approximately Dems controlled government before GOP took control of the House and filibustered in the Senate. Add that healthcare and economy were a priority that first year so many Americans are thankful for the rebounding economy and coverage of pre-existing conditions today thanks to those being the administration's initial priorities.

Didn't Obama ask Congress for some gun reform measures after Sandy Hook? What did they give him? Let's see......I believe it was a big fat nothing! So yeah.....let's blame the lack of action on anything to do with guns on Obama. That makes sense.....

Blame? I blame no one. I did however state facts about who controlled the levers of power during the time that the ATF approved the slide fire stocks. I never agreed with this decision by the way. As for what issues the Dems chose to address, well that was their priority. Yes the GOP opposed some gun control measures after the shooting at Sandy Hook because they thought they infringed on the 2A and a lot of folks agreed with them. So I will ask you all this. How can you control the actions of one man set on harming others? What laws could have been in place to prevent the shooting in Vegas? Since 911 happened we have given the govt. awesome powers to monitor our calls, messages and movements. Have these attacks stopped? No, but after every incident we always hear the same, give us more power more authority and you will be safer. Well the govt. cannot protect you all the time everywhere.
