My doctor adamantly maintains I do not need medical marijuana. I have a new reason every time I see her.

It never ceases to amaze me that the same people that want to make it hard for you to smoke tobacco or use a vape pen think marijuana should be widely available and legal. I just can't square that circle.
For those who this might be helpful to you - more power to you. If it helps you find peace and normalcy, go for it.

I don't favor the government protecting people from themselves.

From the provided link:
"While intoxication lasts two to three hours, the active ingredient in marijuana, delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, can accumulate in fatty tissues, including the brain and testes. Adverse effects from marijuana use include decreased coordination, epithelial damage to the lungs, increased risk of infection, cardiovascular effects and cognitive deficits. Unexplained behavior changes, altered social relationships and poor performance at school or work...."

But with great freedom comes great responsibility. If someone's use of Marijuana is the proximate cause of injury to someone else, The marijuana user should be purchasing their marijuana from the prison commissary for a very long time.''

It is accurate that THC easily crosses the blood-brain barrier, is very slowly biotrasformed and readily binds to lipids. At much higher levels, users experience delusions of suspiciousness and paranoia.
