Practical DOPE for long range shooting | SOFREP

This is very close to what I taught at the Unit as A Squadron Mater Sniper. However the base zero range depends on the weapon and the caliber. The 100 meter base zero is good for urban CT applicatio. Combat weapons in 7.62 was 300 meters. Long ranger applicatios was 400meter for weapon chambered in 300 Winchester Magnum. However, the base zero was simply recommendation. The choice was up to the sniper. Good clip on DOPE.
