As an expat in the Netherlands I'm glad the US has updated the prepositioned equipment. I remember when I was stationed at Fort Hood, our units war plan was to fly to Germany to pick up our war stocks when the screaming Russian hordes poured through Fulda Gap. My NCOs and officers didn't like it when a private pointed out that the Russians were quite likely to crater every airstrip in Germany...
