And he world will keep revolving on its axis. I know you are really, really concerned about his well being and comfort. By the way, it used to be fairly common for Presidents to stay at/on Embassy grounds while traveling abroad. Trump isn't complaining about it as much as you seem to be.

Lol you must sit there waiting for me to post lol FYI it is not a good look for our CIC period, so yeah I am concerned. What used to be fairly common and what the present reality are two different things....nice try though :)

I tend to be here early AM as I am in my office by 0600. You are just unlucky I guess. I have no issue with the President staying at an Embassy or Consulate quarters. Many of those are very nice and have added layers of security too.

I'm actually rather fond of that Embassy idea, considering the hoopla raised about Pelosi and entourage during one such ski-trip... I mean, summit... in Copenhagen a few years back.

Does this really matter, I mean it's a hotel room, they underestimated availability, so we should just fire all of them. I think he will live and I am sure they will work something out.

I would bet it's not so much that he cannot get a room period, as cannot get a room with adequate security and room for the staff that must be with him also. Not likely 100% accurate as titled, but likely true in principle. His staff needs to do better coordinating such things.
