I am done buying safe queens. I prefer rugged dependable weapons I am not afraid to take into the field and get dirty.

Many decades ago, when I shot trap and skeet at the Loch Raven Club (north of Baltimore), there was an old man who shot a 410. It looked like a toy next to everyone else's 12 gauges. However, I rarely saw him miss a target and have long considered making the attempt myself. A few weeks ago, I was looking at a Savage single barrel break open that cost about $100. I don't think I'd spend that much on the Henry, though I wouldn't turn down one as a gift...
