Privatized VA Healthcare Will Look Like the Private Prison Industry

THAT'S JUST HORRIBLE!

In my last position, we worked with both state prisons an private prisons, providing health and surgical services for both. I do know our reimbursement for anesthesia services was much better with the private prisons and the guards appeared better equipped and trained.
I would prefer the VA to stay government run, but there needs to be some major changes made to keep the services viable and available in a timely manner.
