If a female can not score high on the APFT using the male scale, there is no way in Hades that she will pass the RPFT and the other physical events. It seems like a non-issue, as I would expect that only elite females who meet male standards (at a very high level) would be allowed to attend RASP.

CPT (Join to see) If they use the female scale they should apply the same 80% expectation. This is not an unreasonable expectation, instead of lowering both to 60%. It doesn't make sense to expect less.

I will add that common sense dictates that the women that apply to Ranger School will be the ones that know that they can meet the challenge, so how many men will apply the same common sense?

Here's the breakdown from armyranger.com; also noticed there's a difference between the APFT and the Ranger Fitness Test.

I believe you've hit the nail on the head. RFT is still in place.

I do not see any differences in the requirements. The big thing that would drop an individual from the course would not be able to do the 5 mile run in 40 minutes or less.
From what I see for the requirements to pass the ranger course you need a lot of willpower and able to pass the 5 mile run.
Of course pass the psychological aspects of the training.
I did not see anything concerning gender

If this is true (and I'll hold judgement on that, because theses things start like wildfire), and I was a woman that wanted to be a ranger, this would piss me off.
