With all the examples of the last few decades of what not to do with police you would think that everyone would see that you will get shot for your actions. We are all looking at this after the fact, we were not there nor do we know anyone in the video. But if I had a law enforcement job and I was chasing someone that as reported to have broken a window on a car, chased him into a back yard and told him to put his hands up so I can see hit hem and he either failed to do so or had a phone in his hand that we can only find out about after, then he would be getting shot. I don't care if this fellow was an outstanding citizen that worked with homeless vets, was a pastor at church or big brother. He chose to go out, commit a crime and do everything that common sense tells you will get you shot. He would still be alive if he hadn't set this all in motion by committing a crime then running and then doing one more final stupid thing by having something in his hands when cops caught him. No sympathy from me at all.
Que the race baiters that adjust the facts to their need for riots, protests and further division. It doesn't matter what really happened to them, only what they can tell others that believe them to cause more problems. Rinse and repeat a few dozen times more this year and we have the ongoing problem that will start again next year.
The article proves my point better than my post and the fact that Bobble head Sharpton of Tawanna Brawley fame says it all.

Watch: Here's what happened in the shooting of Stephon Clark
Sacramento police shot and killed 22-year-old Stephon Clark Sunday night, March 18, 2018. Clark was unarmed and holding only a cell phone.
The video clearly shows this guy running through peoples backyards and hoping over their privacy fences after dark on the way back to the house he is staying at. It appears to be open land behind the houses and fences but thats not good enough, instead he wants to run over private property and hop fences at one point climbing on a storage shed roof. Rather strange and suspicious behavior if I was a cop watching on video. At any rate the cops fired too many times in my opnion. I don't know if they are trained to engage that way or if they were just scared he was going to shoot.
