My flashback was a little bit different. Barracks hallways at Camp Bonifas, loads of expresso, loads of ramen noodles (thank goodness the ROKs and KATUSAs were well supplied), worries about having to call out the QRP and sending an alert south. Then the fun of running around the back alleys of Seoul with 1st ROK Division NCOs and Junior LTs (Korean, that is).

A few short years ago it seems, I along with hundreds of other new Lts took the DLAB or something similar, while in training. It blew my feeble infantry-mind and I scored a 9, which I was told later was about the lowest score on record . Needless to say I never joined some of my cohorts at DLIFLC
