This type of situation is something I have read about but never run into. I have been part of 76 military funerals and never had one for a veteran without family. It is good to see they get the attendees they deserve

Excellent. Good to see this happening and glad that various media is picking up and reporting these stories.
Sidebar - Landed @ MKE a couple of hours ago. Saw and was impressed with a major turnout for an Honor Flight that was arriving later in the day. Lots of family, friends, American Legion, Vets, Supporters and Airport Staff.
