How would you like to be the Assistant Gunner - ammo bearer? The job would probably include driving a Hummer.

CSM Charles Hayden - Not me, when I was a M-60 gunner, my assistant gunner, and 3 ammo bearers carried all the extra ammo, myself I carried 500 rounds.
The ammo bearers still had to carry all the other gear they had assigned to them, my assistant gunner had to carry also a Dragon, and spare parts bag, one ammo bearer had to carry the Trypod.
