Thanks for letting us know SGT (Join to see) that John F. Prince's body has been brought home to Queens, NY after so many years after being killed in WWII.
When I first read your post I was thinking Royal marines as in British Marines but then I realized you were talking about a NYC Marine.
Hope fully the return of his remains will bring the family of John F. Prince peace and closure.

Have you noticed quite a few MIA's are being found and returned lately, LTC Stephen F.? That's tremendous news for the MIA's family and friends.

SGT (Join to see) - thanks to forensic science improvements and better relations with Vietnam we have been getting more remains back from Vietnam. Getting remains from North Korea is probably unrealistic at this point.

Quite a few MIA's have come home recently from South Korea. I'm still waiting on my friend Terry L. Alford to come home. He went down in '69, but a year ago we heard he and his crew were found and would be back in about a year. That's come and gone. Hopefully he'll come home before I die, LTC Stephen F.. It will be a grand day.
