Very sad.
Diversity is not our strength. Perhaps diversity as we want to define it is acceptable but we do limit diversity. We don't Tolerate rapists. We don't tolerate cannibalism. We don't tolerate mutilation of enemy dead etc. all these are accepted practices in other cultures. We don't accept all diversity.

That was my first thought too. It's unacceptable no matter who did it, but it's not necessarily a sign of racism. It could be race-baiting.

Pretty much, if this happened in 40's, 50. 60, or even 70's then you can see where it might be true but these day its 99% false done by dumb asses looking for attention or to bolster their false narrative. The funny thing is the academy going into full damage control as the should and will always do. I would wager that if this was true the culprit would be front page news, if it was a false BS deal we will never hear about it as usual.

Unfortunately everyone has biases/prejudices. That is human nature. The biases/prejudices CAN BE OVERCOME by education. I would have to say that the person(s) need to be back in grade school and be educated. I don't care who you are or how little or how much education you have ,everyone has a skill/talent that is needed by others. The person that you treat like crap today maybe the one that saves your ass tomorrow. I learned this early in my law enforcement career. It does not hurt to be nice and polite to someone. You can learn something. I know I did and I still did my job. I even made new friends.
