Thanks for sharing the rather unsurprising news SSgt Robert Marx as Lorry driver Abu Fawzi and others unwittingly assembled their convoy early on 12 October and then they realised they had been lied to. Instead of taking refugees to safety it would take three days of hard driving, as they carried a deadly cargo - hundreds of IS fighters, their families and tonnes of weapons and ammunition.
ISIS is never to be trusted.

It is incredible that terrorists could benefit from a withdrawal plan such as this by the acquiesce of the coalition fighting them. Perhaps war weariness played a role, but surely graft and treasonous sympathizers for ISIS also played a role.
