Sometimes, I forget that I'm supposed to be "older and wiser" now, and have to struggle to suppress the urge to tell a lot of folks, "Actually, we ARE better than you because we served." Logically, I know it isn't true...and no, I don't believe that myself. Still, it never ceases to amaze me how people can "label" military persons as "damaged", "violent", "unpredictable", "unfocused", "vain"...and then go about making themselves , "professional humorists of the posterior region" trying to "sound" like our most elite.
I think it would have been better stated that 'Bridgewater has a rigorous hiring process and that only 30% make the cut.' I feel the reference to the SEAL's is that opinion that one has about themselves that's not actually true or real. Likewise if we 're going to be honest the reason for all the recording is about control and has little to do with honesty. Honesty is quit the opposite as an honest person is honest even when the camera is not on them - recording every word forces a dishonest person to appear to be honest because they know they're being observed or monitored. Sounds like he's hired top talent that's lacking in character and he knows it.
