I was a Dem for 37 years, but dropped the party like a dirty shirt when it finally dawned on me what was going on. Democrats like Harry Truman and John Kennedy would likely think many of today's Republicans are a bit too liberal for them -- and that the Democratic Party of today has been taken over by Communists.
