Always loved the "We are willing to learn" comment during the first part of the movie. Was quoted over the flight line radio often....

Saw this movie the first time in the base theater at Andrews Barracks in West Berlin back in 1980-81. I was assigned to USAFS Berlin. I've seen other versions of this in other movies as well. In the theater, the scene where SFC Hulka gave his speech about "don't call me sir! I'm a Sergeant, I work for a living!", the whole theater erupted with hoots and hollers. I'm sure all of the officers in the theater, by the expressions on their faces, were a bit surprised and caught off guard by it all. It was classic!
