Got the short version - Ukraine and obstruction of congress, all alleged and will remain as such until proven otherwise. It takes witnesses for that to happen. Schiff used "If" twice (If it proceeds) so don't be surprised if they back off. Ollie North says they won't but he won't be convicted and will win in 2020. Also that it will lead to a Rep majority in House. FWIW.

SFC John Wade 1. Impeachment is the process of bringing charges, which is a function of the House. The trial on those charges happen in the Senate.
2. It’s completely legal to remove a sitting President, regardless of political affiliation, without the “support of all of congress” as you so eloquently put it. It takes a majority in the House to commence the trial and a 2/3 majority in the Senate to convict.
I learned this in middle school man. If you’re going to comment on the legality of the process AT LEAST KNOW THE PROCESS
