Might be "Gulf War Syndrome"... it would appear that Desert Storm veterans have a higher rate of respiratory illness... possibly due to the burning oil wells. Haven't heard if anything official but the VA denied PTSD and Agent Orange claims for years... even DECADES.

SFC (Join to see) Thank you so much for this share. There are many who suffer from respiratory disease in the military. Some are right here on RP. SGT Michael Thorin is an example. He needs a lung transplant due to an illness he got while deployed. He is strong and inspiration to the rest of us.

I'm betting my invention could heal his lungs but it won't be out in the time I think he would need it. I'm currently looking into grant writers for Federal, DOD and VA funding to be able to build and field test. It's a process. Wish I would have been able to do all my inventions sooner. Probably could have helped more people. But I believe God puts us where we need to be, even if we can't see the full rhyme or reason. SPC Douglas Bolton
