I was just talking to a Desert Storm Veteran about an illness they had that they got while serving in Iraq I believe. I can't think of the name he called it but it effected the lungs. How many diseases do veterans have that effected you? I've only ever dealt with veterans that had "Shell Shock", PTSD and cervical/testicular cancers.
But one of my inventions may help those who are effected with lung issues. But it was built for my son who's lungs were too small to support his growth and who I was told he wouldn't make it to see 5 years old. And that I should enjoy the time I have with him.
Now to tell a mom to give up on the life she brought into this world is like telling God to give up on us in a whole! No thank you! My son had his lungs rechecked after a few years of using this machine and medical formula I created and his lungs are perfect. Fully developed and he can play with other kids without having to be on a breathing machine, or oxygen tank.
So if there's any veterans of these wars who suffer with permanent lung issues please comment with your story. You may not be my son or daughter but you all have moms and I know what it is to feel the loss of being able to help your child. But I need the data in order to rebuild one for adult size and needs.

Might be "Gulf War Syndrome"... it would appear that Desert Storm veterans have a higher rate of respiratory illness... possibly due to the burning oil wells. Haven't heard if anything official but the VA denied PTSD and Agent Orange claims for years... even DECADES.

SFC (Join to see) Thank you so much for this share. There are many who suffer from respiratory disease in the military. Some are right here on RP. SGT Michael Thorin is an example. He needs a lung transplant due to an illness he got while deployed. He is strong and inspiration to the rest of us.

I'm betting my invention could heal his lungs but it won't be out in the time I think he would need it. I'm currently looking into grant writers for Federal, DOD and VA funding to be able to build and field test. It's a process. Wish I would have been able to do all my inventions sooner. Probably could have helped more people. But I believe God puts us where we need to be, even if we can't see the full rhyme or reason. SPC Douglas Bolton
