Recapping the Obama Administration Green Energy Stimulus Failures - IER

It seems Freshman Representative Ocasio-Cortez wants to tax the rich at 70% to fund a “green energy new deal”. Two points need to be made. The first point is The rich didn’t get rich by being stupid. They will not hang around to be fleeced, or leave their money vulnerable. Second point is I seem to remember a “green deal” years ago. Will the “ new green deal” work better? Don’t bet on it. Obama poured billions into green energy companies that failed, costing tax payers $billions. Any one remember Fishers Motors? Ener 123 ? Of course the poster child was Solyndra that cost taxpayers over $500 million and a Solyndra manufacturing site became an EPA funded clean up site. Not only that but some green energy isn’t that green. Windmill generated power plants kill predatory birds and solar heated towers create “ streamers”, as birds fly through the super heated air they catch on fire mid flight. We have the very expensive green deal Tee shirt, will we have learned or are we doomed to repeat history? These are only a few of the bankruptcies from Obama’s green initiatives. People were trained for green jobs that didn’t exist etc.
