LTC (Join to see) I Grew Up in a Catholic German/Irish Community in Cincinnati, OH. The Links between Here and There are How Shall I Say It "Interesting". Big Pete McCarthy was My Sponsor for Confirmation in the Catholic Church, I was every bit as much a McCarthy as I was a Nagel. One of Biggest Influencers was My Uncle Paul McDonald Yep another Damn Irishman that Disdained the Church, He Was a Liberal that thought the Church was the Source of All Evil. Funny Part I would go on to Serve in London and in Diego Garcia alongside the Brits. I still have a Slight Bone to Pick with the IRA and that Little Stunt they Helped the Libyans with on Oxford St (Kind of the Basis for "Patriot" Games").

LTC (Join to see) I will say for the Most Part the IRA Knew Better than Kill the Goose that Laid the Golden Eggs. Most of the Funding for the IRA Came from Catholic Irishman in North America. They tried their Best to Keep Americans out of the Crossfire.

LTC (Join to see) - One thing I learned Politics and Terrorism makes Strange Bedfellows, Any and All will work together if they can see some Benefit. They may even Pretend to Work together while working against one another sometimes to create a sense of Unity and Purpose. I'm still Torn on Whether that Bomb Meant for Me and a Couple of other Guys here was a Complete Fubar or that the IRA working with the Libyans Intentionally Set the Timer Wrong knowing we Wouldn't Arrive for an Hour.
