Didn't see this anywhere else on RP. Compelling story. According to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency there are still over 1600 soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines, and US civilians still missing or unaccounted for from the Vietnam War. Hopefully more will make it home.

It is always good to see, hear, and read about the return of MIA remains to families that have waited these long years. The DPMAA consists of a group of dedicated people and are to be commended for their work in reseaching, finding, and returning the remains of those lost in Vietnam. Inread that they have a heck of a time dealing with the government of Vietnam for information and/or permission to go to some areas.
