Remains of US Pilot from WWII Found at the Bottom of Pacific Ocean

Thanks for sharing the great news CW5 Jack Cardwell the remains of U.S. Navy pilot have been located in the Pacific after his aircraft went down during WWII.
In keeping with long-standing DoD policy the identity of the remains will not be released until all next of kin have been notified.
Kudos to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) which "sent out an Underwater Recovery Team staffed by U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force service members. Moreover, Department of Defense civilians served aboard the USNS Salvor."
