'The United States has not only unilaterally attacked,' said Sacha Llorenti, 'the United States has become that investigator, has become the prosecutor, has become the judge, has become the jury.'

While there may be an element of truth to that, if the UN would step up to the plate instead of shilly-shallying around just outside the batter's box, we wouldn't have to. We all know that isn't going to happen. The UN is a paper tiger most of the time. I really don't give a hoot in hell what the Bolivian ambassador has to say. What I do care about is that Assad understands that if he so much as farts, it might be perceived as a gas attack with his six the target for a cruise missile.

IMV, Trump's precise, targeted, limited strike is a bit akin to a lawfully carrying person witnessing a violent crime and using his lawfully carried weapon against the criminal to protect others. I applaud it.

Sorry sir, the main difference you mention about areas in Africa is we have troops in or around that area. The troops were not in Direct area, where the chemicals went off, but we don't have the exacts of the chemical down wind plot. I would at being a troop that was in the Gulf During Shield and is sick from Gulf War Illness, why, because chemicals were hit and wind track took into our area. So I would say yes because they violated their promise of getting read of all agents, a nd we need to keep troops safe and protect innocents.

Thank you for your input. Point well made from an individual who earned, with great difficulty and sacrifice, an authoritarian voice. Thanks for your service and for your comments.

I will remind you of Gulf war, it has been proven that some of the GB agents that wear blown over 300 miles away tracked down and blew the cone toward us. I stated we don't have the Chemical down wind message, but they do. Now the other thing Chemical weapons are against inter national law.

LTC Tom Jones Who gives a hoot what Bolivia says or thinks?...and I don't agree with you. Syria is a country who agreed to get rid of all of their chemical weapons and agreed not to use them any more...and RUSSIA said they would make sure these weapons would be disposed of...both countries agreed to do this and both countries STATED they did just this...so why is it they are both caught using these chemical weapons that they agreed NOT to use and both said were long gone?!?! ENOUGH is ENOUGH....Something needs to be done and I believe TRUMP made the right decision...yes, with probably many so called CONSEQUENCES, but we shall persevere and figure it out and hopefully help get things right over there....if for anything the INNOCENT citizens of SYRIA and surrounding areas.

Exaectly, don't froget we have troops in harms way and don't need down wind damge or risk to them, I would say that alone in enough on the target we hit.

Dead babies make a harsh argument, Kelli, but that does not mean that Bolivian/third world/other Nation's concerns should be dismissed out of hand.

LTC Tom Jones - Never understood their concern....they can't even take care of their own, much less help out in other parts of the world....until they contribute, as far as I am concerned, they have no right to make comments...well, okay it's free speech....make all the comments and concerns they want...but I'll never care or take them seriously. Just my two cents.
