I consider myself incredibly lucky to meet this man and also have a tour by him through his old submarine the Nautilus. This deserves a good read as he’s a uncommon name in military history, but definitely should not be forgotten. Rest In Peace.

I am proud to say that Capt. Pete Tzomes was from my hometown, Williamsport, PA. Pete was a couple of years older than me but I knew him. He was indeed an outstanding individual. Thanks for sharing this piece.
