SSG(P) (Join to see) When they showed the congressman on TV this morning, I had to laugh. He is a NEW YORK Representive. I didn't know that there were any conservatives in New York. Further I was surprised to hear him say he had a carry permit. In the place where no questions asked gun buy backs are considered a viable crime reduction measure, and legal gun owners are looked upon as demons, there is a representative who is both conservative and a CCW holder?
I also find it ironic that he said he was going to start carrying. Having a permit does one no good unless they are using it. He should be carrying. He got the permit for a reason. He works in DC, not exactly the safest of U.S. cities.
