My comment, "Who is Representative Hakeem Jeffries that receives 100% of the Democratic Representative's vote for the position of House Minority Leader Incumbent?
While the dysfunctional Republican representative is trying to get their act together and perhaps at least look like they are doing the work that voters asked them to accomplish we need to look at the democrats. They seem to always row in the same direction while speaking to the talking points provided by the leadership. They are to be commended for their unity for working in the interest of the democratic party - Working for the citizens of the United States, not so much. Hakeem Jeffries is the democratic house leader of choice. Who is this person that demands the total loyalty of the House of Representative democrats?
Hakeem Sekou Jeffries; born August 4, 1970, is an American politician and attorney who is the leader of the House Democratic Caucus and the Minority Leader in the U.S. House of Representatives. Jeffries has represented New York's 8th congressional district, anchored in southern and eastern Brooklyn since 2013. Before his election to Congress in 2012, Jeffries served three terms in the New York State Assembly, representing the 57th district, and worked as a corporate lawyer. He has chaired the House Democratic Caucus since 2019.

Jeffries said the 2016 election was 'illegitimate' because of Russian influence, but crucified the republicans that denied the results of an election.
Jeffries supported the big spending set forth by the democratic party. So far the total has increased by over 4 Trillion dollars.
Rep. Hakeem Jeffries pays just $200 in property taxes thanks to the sweetheart subsidy law while he gets $174,000 in congressional salary. According to a local Realtor, his condo is worth about $1.2 million dollars, yet he admonishes former President Trump for using the U.S. Tax laws to reduce his corporate taxes.
In the 2016 election cycle, Jeffries endorsed Hillary Clinton for president, in spite of previously "bucking the New York establishment" by endorsing Obama over Clinton in the 2008 presidential primary. After Clinton lost the electoral college, he claimed her loss was due to her lack of a "clear, decisive economic message" in using "Stronger Together" as a campaign slogan and her failure to relate to white working-class voters' anxieties.
CNN host Alisyn Camerota reported that Hakeem Jeffries referred to Trump as "the Grand Wizard (Ku Klux Klan) of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue" in a speech on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. He also called the former president the "hater in the White House" A term he seems to like as it was used in his diatribe to describe Justice Thomas as shown in the attached video.
He is unanimously supported by the democratic house to lead their party while the republican party continues to hold hostage the voters that placed them in office to champion the cause for "we the people".
Is it time for a new party?

The short version of your long answer, he's someone who knows the system and legally uses it to his advantage. On top of that he has the respect of his caucus and knows how to govern his country.

And accepts trans genders dancing in front of grade schoolers and at the same time, tries to get rid of terms like Mom and Dad and calls Mom a birthing person. Teaching children that white kids are responsible for slavery and racism. And that Ppl of color can't get ahead because of whities holding them back. An open border is good for who and why do Dems. want it to continue to happen? And then teaching woke crap to our Military ( COME ON MAN AS J.B. WOULD SAY! ) His Country doesn't he mean to say the Ppls. Country? Or are you happy with politicians? thinking it's their country so they can fundamentally change America? Was your oath of enlistment a joke to you?

No one is trying to "get rid of terms like mom and dad." There are people who give birth who are not moms. Everyone who gives birth isn't a mother. Surrogates. Nonbinary people. Transgender men. I don't see you having an issue with trans women (m to f transition) who still have their kids call them dad.
No one is teaching white kids that they are responsible for racism. But people are trying to teach accurate history of the US. Facts are that everything in the US was built on slavery and that a lot of white kids ancestors were involved in it. Remember, the Civil Rights Act didn't pass until 1964...my parents were 11, 10 when that passed and are still alive so they lived through segregation. Ruby Bridges is the same age as them and she's still alive. But white people are 100% responsible for racism and slavery in this country. Since day 1.
White privilege IS a thing and white people DO have advantages that POC don't have solely because of our skin color.

Border patrol has been arresting more people than ever before on the border...so that means they're stopping people at the border. And there's been an increase in people dying in the river crossing because they can't get through any other way. So it sounds like there's not an open border at all.

Is it unity? Or are the dems better at coercion? I am glad McCarthy is being roasted by the House vote. He's a squish and he's finding out that's what members of the Republican house don't like his squishyness. We don't need another Boehner or Ryan.
