Republican Rep Madison Cawthorn told a crowd at a Turning Point USA event last month to "lightly threaten" lawmakers who didn't support claims of voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election.
The comments was made a little over three weeks before rioters who supported President Donald Trump stormed the US Capitol as lawmakers debated the Electoral College vote.
Cawthorn, who also spoke at the "Stop the Steal" rally in Washington DC that descended into the riot at the Capitol, later denounced the violence.

When you work up a crowd to rage and then they storm the capital you are just as responsible as they are I'm not sure whose side everybody's on in this place are you Americans or you revolutionaries against the government that we have

However, did any elected officials in the Democratic party ever tell their constituents to do any violence to Republicans? To Trump? To anyone? If there's an example show me because that's not ok either. Just like it's not ok for Cawthorn to tell people to threaten their members of Congress.

You do realize this is not new and you can review CSPAN clips of the 2016 election with Democrats objecting vociferously over voter fraud while Congress was counting the electoral votes then. At least I hope you realize that happened. If not I am sure you can find the clips on the CSPAN website via a search. Let us all know how outraged you were back then when that happened. Of course back then it was the Democrats protesting not the Republicans.

You're okay with any elected official making this kind of statement: "“Call your congressman and feel free, you can lightly threaten them and say, you know what, if you don’t start supporting election integrity, I’m coming after you, Madison Cawthorn is coming after you, everybody’s coming after you.”"
What if a Democrat says this? What if they had said this in 2016? Would you be so cavalier? What in the world is wrong with you people?
