I don't think that's true. Biden has plenty of baggage for Trump to attack starting with the Ukraine mess.

A setback for down ballot races perhaps.
Biden is now and always has been a lousy political candidate. The difference is before he would say uncouth things and people could shrug it off as who he is because most people see him as a genuinely nice guy. Now it is pretty clear that he is dottering and confused, and can't possibly be the real person in charge if elected.
