Some problems with this that in an arid environments it would take days to gather enough water to have any utility. There for example in a relatively moist environment of 45% humidity at 25°C there is only 8g of water per Kg of air. Water has a density of 1Kg/L. That means, assuming a perfect capture rate of water we would have to process 125 Kg of air to get 1 L of water. 1 m^3 of air at sea level weighs 1.3 Kg. So to get 1 liter of water from the air in ideal conditions of 45% humidity, 25°C, at sea level with a perfect capture rate, you must process 96.15 m^3 of air. Then you have to expend energy to extract the water from these metals. In a desert, very cold or mountainous region you would have even less water to pull from the air.

SSG Shavonde Chase Sounds Like it has Possibilities. Replacement for the Solar Distillers they put on the Navy Life Rafts but being it Requires Power not sure How Viable it would be.
