It's sad to see that. But all SM must put into mind that their choices will affect their career and those around them. Drop the fried chicken and eat more veggies! HYDRATE HYDRATE HYDRATE (I mean water, no alcohol)

Different body types , I agree that most Army folks I see are indeed larger than the vast majority of Marines. Why? Might have something to do with the PT difference between Services. We run farther, burn more calories so therefore we are lean. Not gonna beat the Army up, but their Cami's don't help there cause any either. Semper Fi.

You understand that someone can be "overweight" but still be fit? For example Lebron James, a great athlete, still considered "overweight"

SPC (Join to see), Of course I understand. I'm overweight, but I'm still fit. I didn't write the article. You know that don't you?

SGT (Join to see) - Very true. I was simply pointing it out. So although the army may be "the most overweight" it may be a smaller percentage of those that are actually overweight not passing PT. Oral at least that's my hope haha

That is a true statement. However, when the soldier can no longer see his/her feet that is not fit!
