I'm not surprised, but the methodology in this "study" is suspect. It's based solely on BMI, which is notoriously unreliable for folks who are fit. At 5'9" I am overweight at 170 pounds according to BMI. That's generally where I sit at most of the time and I doubt anyone looking at me would say I'm overweight. Appearance wise I'm one step up from "crackhead skinny."

Too many soft ice cream machines in the dining facility. They need to cut back to one flavor and no toppings..

How is this even an actual study? One can simply observe the Army and see that a lot of soldiers are simply...fat. I don't give a damn about any other excuse. If your gut is making it's way over your belt, i.e. muffin top or beer keg, you are now fat.
