This doesn't surprise me at all. My experience with a privatized housing company left me very suspicious of their ability (or even desire) to actually improve the housing experience for troops. They just wanted to make money, and they appeared to cut corners at every opportunity in order to make money. In my opinion, the decision to privatize housing is a horrible mistake.
